Goals
I often set small goals for a particular day and then often find that at the end of the day "failing" to accomplish those goals. I think that's pretty normal, right?
It does help to write things down ...so here goes.
TODAY-
I will plant everything that needs to get in the ground before they die!
6 perennials --Bear's breeches and 5 new hostas
Annuals-- some dusty miller (4), some tall yellow marigolds ( 8), some pink petunias (1/2 a flat) and a few cosmos.
If I have the energy ( at this age it's all about that and not time, right?) I'll transplant. It's a long list. I go through the yard with my coffee in the morning and make note of those that need more room. I need to take a pencil and paper and write those down as well.
Here's hoping! I'm heading outside right now!
PS it's 11:00 am.
It's 12:40
Really??? Goals?? In 1 and 1/2 hours
I've planted the Bear's breeches and the cosmos.
It seems like too little but now I have bags of Solomon's seal, bachelor buttons, lamium, buttercup, irises...more varieties to come. As I thin out the flowerbeds my dilemma is whether or not to keep the plant sections or toss them out?? so far, it's keep.
After this break, I'm headed to the backyard.
