Fall fun in November - still blooming
It’s the end of October and it’s still dry but surprisingly the yard is still mostly green! Today is a beautiful cool sunny day. We’ve had a few frosty mornings but only tenderest of plants were affected. The basil, the impatiens and begonias are gone but the more colorful snapdragons and rudbeckias are still ablaze! Temperatures are holding steady in the mid 50s and above freezing at night! Apparently a true Indian summer comes after a “killing frost” and we certainly have not experienced one of those yet!

I don’t recall ever enjoying an Indian summer and while that would be nice, we really need rain! Maybe on Sunday night.
PS
It rained last night after trick or treating was done!!
Hooray!
