Proverbs 31: 10 The wife of noble character

 I confess that when I think of Proverbs 31 , I do not think of the noble character of the wife.  I think only of the list of work that she does.  I felt a bit like that this morning.

 I woke up at 3:30 and naturally I was unable to sleep again. In my frustration, at 4:30 I was up but not ready to start the day. Reading, watching the news and playing a game on my IPad on the couch was the plan.  Unfortunately my mind kept seeing that long to-do list  that I had written the night before. 

So

- bagged up the tomato sauce that I had made yesterday and put it in the freezer

- made a peach crisp

Best peach crisp ever!!

- got a new lease ready for a tenant

-got the Toppers flyers ready for the mail

then 

-made coffee and watched the news (things are pretty depressing right now)

-got dressed

-mowed the entire yard

- treated the lawn with weed-begone ( I hope it does what the label says it is supposed to do- kill the weeds and not the grass)

- put on a pot of tomatoes to be stewed

- had a piece of the peach crisp ( it's good) and sat down to write this.

I am tired and think I accomplished a lot and did it well and all this before 11:15.  Proverbs 31 came to mind and since I had a Bible by the computer I looked it up.  

Oh dear!! I may have done a lot but I am definitely a woman of noble character!! I need a change of attitude...I think!! Haha
