What a day this was.
I cleaned up the house a bit and then decided to go to New2You to drop off some of the clothes that no longer fit June. I had them washed and folded in a bag which I kept moving. It was time to get them out of here!
I then stopped at Toppers two with one goal and only one. I think I got there at 12:30 or so to check an outlet. The neon OPEN sign was not working and I wanted to see why. One of the drivers got up to the outlet and pushed in the plug and VOILA ..it worked. One problem solved.
The day manager was in a panic because he had an order for $130 and could I please help. I helped and we got the order out and delivered. And then I stayed. and stayed and stayed. I worked until 10:30 PM. They were so behind and the morning crew had not done enough prep. That was fine! I like keeping busy like that.
But the SHTF really during dinner. The line cook decided to quit! such a baby! We called Nathan in because we had so many orders. He saved the day!
That's the problem with workers these days. If they don't feel good about their situation they bale!
Now, while I was tired after all that, I was looking forward to sleeping! Of course that didn't happen even after some ambien and other meds. My final resort was to sleep on the couch with some mundane re-run so that my mind would stop. Hooray! that worked.
