Re-organization
Re-organization or something...
Ever once in awhile, I feel the need to clean up neglected areas in the house and the yard as well.
It usually means shedding as well.
My first MAJOR step this year was giving away the piano. There is not much of a market for pianos these days. Millennials probably prefer keyboards. I wanted to give it to the local thrift store but they didn't want it. Pianos are as difficult to sell as the old fat television sets. I even offered it up on facebook...no takers.
Yet, two weeks ago at a meeting the topic came up and believe it or not (I had a difficult time believing it) one of the ladies said her daughter would love to have a piano. She and her family had recently moved to Michigan.
It was hers for the taking. A piano moving company came and picked it up on Wednesday.
There is a big empty space where it once had stood for many years. I'm still getting used to that. It's a new stage of the empty nest syndrome, I think.
Well...on to a new project...perhaps new office furniture.
