Such a dilemma...
What do you do when your regular commitments are in conflict with other things that pop up in your life??
I have a committee meeting to run (plan etc) every second Monday and a thrift store shift every Wednesday. When I started both of these things I felt that it was good and doable etc. Well now...maybe not.
Last week I had to bow out of both because of meetings in Chicago. Replacements/substitutes were found for both. That's good, right? Except I don't feel good about having to do that.
Next week, I head to Anchorage for 8 days and I will need to do the same thing. So I canceled the meeting and will tell the manager flat out that I can't make it. I don't feel good about that either.
So, what's the solution? Quit?
I don't feel good about that either.
