New year challenges!
New year’s resolutions. I’ve never been very successful at keeping them.
This year I’m thinking in terms of challenges. There’s no time restraints with a challenge, right?
Challenge #1
Water! According to the results of recent research, water helps slow down the aging process. It recommended that women drink 9 cups (72 oz) of water per day and men drink 13 cups (104 oz)
I decided to accept the challenge! Drinking 72 oz of water is quite difficult I’ve found. Most people fear, if they do that, they will have to make many trips to the WC . Personally, I found that to be true the second day much more than the first. Will it continue that way? Only time will tell!
Challenge #2
Salads... eating more of them is my second challenge. I have difficulty finding the motivation to prepare all the ingredients every night so I wanted to change that. I bought all the ingredients and prepared everything and placed them all in separate containers. Tonight I just took something from each container and made a a very nice salad in just a few minutes. There’s plenty left to do it all again and again! Will this too continue? Only time will tell!
Two challenges. I’ll be younger looking and perhaps a few pounds lighter!
Report: Day 1 and day 2 were successful! Day 3 was not!
Day 4: so far so good
Day 5: I think I'm on a roll!
