FELLOWSHIP DINNER
Our church organized a fellowship dinner on a Sunday evening. One could sign up to host or to be a guest. We were hosts. 8 people came to our house and we gathered around the table to eat and to get to know one another better. It was a nice mix of ages 80s to 20s!
The food was pretty simple- pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes, chicken, carrots, broccoli, corn, garlic bread. They ate well.
The conversation went from serious to fanciful and back but all participated and that after all was the purpose of the evening.
It was an enjoyable evening and I'm happy we hosted. Next time we'll go as guests!
My only regret? I didn't take any pictures! Next time!
By 8:00 everyone was gone. By 8:30 the dishwasher was running and the big stuff washed and drying on the counter.
