Mystery solved
The hubby took me on a bit of a mystery trip for my 70th.
We ended up in Petoskey, a place we had never been to before even though we've lived in Michigan for a very long time.
It was a cloudy, almost dreary, weekend, at least as far as the weather was concerned. First stop: Cadillac. Lunch at the Clam Lake Brewery. Good food and good beer.
Petoskey: The Terrace Inn--old, creaky and absolutely charming. Fortunately the plumbing and the beds were up to date!
Leggs Inn
A legendary place known for its good home cooking of Polish food and music. It was hopping when we got there. We were told it would be about 90 minute wait. They gave us a pager and off we went - to the bar and to the back garden.
