September in the garden
At the end of June it was all about the irises.
July it was all about the day lilies!
August was just August.
Now it's September and I am waiting for the the sedum, asters and mums to bloom,
I am still enjoying the last of the black-eyed susans, the hibiscus, the cardinal flowers (that bring in the hummingbirds) and the annuals! It's looking pretty good - lots of lush plants and lots of color.
As a side note there are also lots of weeds because it has been raining and I am not allowed to bend over. Do I care about the weeds? not really! after all it is September!
Some of my favorites!
