Invisible - really??

recently Someone expressed that she felt invisible sometimes.  I think everyone feels that way occasionally!  I googled the topic and came up with a few definitions and recourse. These include low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence, and negative emotions such as frustration, loneliness, emptiness, and sadness , which will remain in their daily lives and significantly interfere with their daily lives. Alternatively, your upbringing can have a huge impact in feeling invisible as well. This is a recap to one long article  When it seems that others overlook you more often than not, raising your voice just a little can help you assert your presence and express your needs. That said, it’s not always easy to shine a light on yourself. If you’re struggling to stand out from the crowd, professional support can help. A final thought to keep in mind: It’s possible your perception of invisibility is just that — a perception. You may be more seen by others than you realize.

Leftover pictures from Mexico.

Just so I can save the Mexican pictures somewhere. A huge table made from wood from Bali! A pool by the ocean very far from our accommodations but reserved for  those staying in The Estates- exclusive but apparently cold.  The local transportation! We played lots of games while talking and catching up! A toast to the Wednesday lunch group back in GR.

New Door bling

6 x 27 We got a new number board for our house. Lovely big numbers on board constructed by our youngest son. He mounted it on the house with a French cleat. That should be sturdy enough for our Michigan winds.

Dinner at LA Cantina and enough for breakfast! puerto Vallarta resort

We ate at La Cantina last night. Good Mexican food! Chicken fajitas- even the menu said this was Tex-mex! Chamorro de cerdo- pork leg! With interesting sides- pickled jicama, nopal which is cactus, rice and refried beans!  Albondigas- meatballs  We had leftovers for breakfast because we leave tomorrow.   Our flight leaves at 2:45 and because Saturday is a busy day we will be there 2 hours before BUT because it will be busy and because we have to Uber to the airport we need another two hours so we need to leave at 10:45!  ( lots of politics surrounding the fact that the resort cannot shuttle to the airport! This is México!, An interesting dish for breakfast! Tortillas in a frying pan covered with beaten eggs, onions and bacon, sprinkled with cheese and covered with more tortillas.  After cooking for awhile it gets flipped and cooked some more!  Leftover corn tortillas filled with me...
