The promise of "old-world" elegance Asked to bring a dessert... that's always a tough one for me but I'm up to the challenge, right? POT ROAST

I love whipping up a good meal and usually go web surfing for new ideas but yesterday ...pot roast in a crock pot (I know there is a name for this but who cares. It's easy and yummy!!) Take one roast  plop it in a crock pot top with 1 stick of butter, one package of brown gravy mix and one packet of ranch dressing mix. turn on crock pot forget it all until it's time to put on the potatoes and the veggies. the gravy is absolutely wonderful...even granddaughter approved. one great dinner  ...and me without my camera for once. lol
