It was an absolutely gorgeous day here in west Michigan. The sun was shining, the breeze was blowing and the temperature got to at least 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Unbelievable! I went biking with a group of friends from church and then headed over to the 'cottage' of one of the couples. The fall colors are starting!

Sarah just got news that she has gotten accepted to grad school!! Hurray! Hurray! Eastern Michigan has expanded it's graduate Speech Pathology program and is accepting two classes per year now. It's the only university in Michigan doing that. She starts in January!! The undergrad programs in Speech-Path have grown at an incredible rate during the last few years and graduate programs have not caught up. All the schools she applied to had upwards of 200 applicants for 30 spots! That makes for tough competition! We are so happy for her!
