Sarah graduated from Calvin today. Congratulations sweetie!

Sarah graduates from Calvin College today!! Hooray for her! Here are a few choice pictures with some fellow graduates. First-Sarah and Andy Alex and Sarah Sarah and Kat Becky, Liz, Sarah and Alex Andy and Peter Matt and Alex I saved the best for last...aren't they just adorable! This was taken during their party during their training trip. Everyone had to get the 'worst' christmas sweater possible. I think they did exceptionally well.

The clematis is blooming. An orchid that I have babied for two years has just bloomed.\ I got flowers for Mother's day. The african violets are blooming as well.

Henry Jonker has spent the last few days with us in GR. It has been great to reminisce about old times.

Aaron was over today on his 'new' bike.

We were invited to a Resseguie family celebration of Andrew's grad from Calvin. They wined and dined us at a very nice restaurant in Holland, Michigan. Here are a few pictures.

Nathan and Molly got a dog..a puppy really. He's a bulldog/pit bull mix. Isn't he cute?

I have some gorgeous primroses again this year but only the yellow ones seem to survive. I did have some pink and red ones last year. The tulips are in full bloom around Calvin...it's a tradition. This year there are new ones ...they are maroon and gold: Calvin's colors.

Here are a few pictures of the swim team...fully clothed for a change. The seniors traditionally receive a gift from the rest of the team. This year each one got a beautiful beach towel with their name embroidered on it. The seniors also get a gift from Calvin: a nice cozy blanket with their name on it. This is Alex, Sarah's room mate. Andy looks like he's having a hard time hearing what it is going on.
